A system that suits your space

One room, several rooms, or part of your renovation.

Tell us where you want more comfort. We’ll help you consider the layout, indoor and outdoor unit positions, and the right capacity for the space.

A bedroom, home office or living space may need a different approach from an open-plan extension. Tell us how you use each room and where sunlight or large windows affect comfort. Unit size and positioning should suit the space and the proposed installation route.

01 / SINGLE ROOM

Focus on your favourite space

A single-split system connects one indoor unit to one outdoor unit. An option for a bedroom, living room or home office.
02 / MULTIPLE ROOMS

Comfort across your home

A multi-split can connect several indoor units to one outdoor unit. The right arrangement depends on your rooms and the equipment selected.
03 / BUILDING PROJECTS

Plan it into the build

Discuss air conditioning alongside your extension or refurbishment, so unit locations, pipe routes and finishing can be considered together.

What affects the final price?

Room sizes, glazing and how you use the space help determine the system specification. We also need to consider:
  • The number of indoor units and chosen model
  • Pipework length, drainage and wall construction
  • Electrical supply and any necessary upgrades
  • Outdoor-unit position, access and finishing work

Air-conditioning servicing and repairs.

Torba also offers air-conditioning servicing and repairs across London and Essex. Send the make and model, the number of indoor units and a description of the work needed.

For a fault enquiry, include any error message and photographs where useful. We can discuss the work required and the system before arranging a visit. Repair scope and costs are confirmed after assessment.

Before you decide

Your air conditioning questions.

Can air conditioning heat a room as well? Many fixed split systems use reversible heat-pump technology to provide heating and cooling. We’ll confirm the functions of the model in your quote. Conventional multi-split systems generally run in either heating or cooling mode at a time.
How do I know which size system I need?Room dimensions are only the starting point. Glazing, insulation, sunlight, ceiling height and the way the room is used all influence the requirement. The system should be specified for your property.
How long will installation take?Timing depends on the number of units, pipe routes, access and any electrical or finishing work. We’ll discuss the programme once the installation has been assessed.
What will it cost to run?Running costs depend on the selected system, electricity tariff, weather, room conditions and operating hours. We can discuss the model’s efficiency information; a single hourly figure would not fit every home.
Can AC be included in an extension or refurbishment?Yes. Speak to us early in your building project so we can consider the air conditioning alongside room layouts, electrical work and finishes.
What about maintenance and warranty?Ask about the maintenance requirements and warranty terms for the chosen equipment before you proceed. The recommended servicing schedule and any warranty conditions should be clear at handover.
