Used Torba builders for a loft conversion and reconfiguration of existing bathroom. They were a great professional company to work with.  Gani had an extremely helpful attitude and manner about him- no job was ever too big and he was very accommodating of other jobs we asked him to do that were not part of the original agreement.  The tiler they use is extremely good and did a great job with our large tiles. Torba service was good, they were on site when agreed and delivered a good build for the 6 metre extension along with the loft. Even after the build stayed in touch when we needed things done. I received a fantastic service with Torba. They provide high quality work and pay great attention to detail.

I explained the vision for my extension to the guys and they took everything I said  on board, they made some suggestions which made the outcome even better! They managed to complete on a fairly quick turnaround time without compromising on quality. Pleased to say they understood and delivered exceeding my expectations! I got my whole house removated from Torba building and I must say they were very professional, they had a plan and completed the whole project in the time scale we had agreed. The finishing was outstanding and they go the extra mile to keep customers happy. The tiler they have is a perfectionist and did a immaculate job. The best construction company I have used ever! No word of a lie, I trust these guys all the way. Its been an amazing journey that I have with Torba Building Services and still loads more ventures to continue. AVOID! We DO NOT Recommend these guys.
Very poor service, unprofessional and poor quality - the pictures speak for themselves!

To put things into perspective: They put a pipe in front of the window opening which blocked it - we couldn't open the window! After pointing it out, the reply we got was "You have other windows."

1. Paint work started cracked less than 24 hours after being "completed" - still hasn't been fixed and it's been over 4 weeks now
2. Rubbish left outside - we were told they would be back to collect their rubbish so we decided to trust them (they say "builders you can trust")! The rubbish is still sitting outside and it's been more than 4 weeks. I caught them offloading rubbish from another site and leaving it on our drive as well!
3. Poor workmanship - I've attached a few examples of the low quality you can expect - paint cracking, tiles misaligned, trimming not cut at 45 degree angle, silicone not done correctly either! Areas of grouting that is missing - overall, poor quality.
4. No communication - they contracted out to some material collectors and didn't tell us. All of a sudden we get a knock on the door from a guy asking for money. Called Torba Builders who replied, "Oh yeah, can you pay him please, you can take it off the balance?"
5. Poor time management - they would tell us they are coming the next day but failed to show up, on many occasions. We'd have made arrangements, rearrange work commitments and cancelled plans to ensure we are home but they don't show up for work.
6. Unprepared - always asking for things like washing up liquid and kitchen towels. A professional company would not ask for these things!
7. Poor management - Torba Builders had to ask me to go with them in order to hire out machinery for them to complete the job. Myself and my wife had to take Identity Documentation and pay a deposit for the machine. In order to allow for the job to continue I agreed. Again, this is not professional by any means!

So many more things that I can list - like placing light switches without asking us and then arguing that "they've done it now and it can't be fixed".

Torba Building Services are trustworthy, fairly priced and provide a high-end service. I genuinely cannot fault Gani and his team! He is professional and friendly with an exceptional work ethic, working long hours to help us move into the flat quicker. I will definitely be using again - thank you!
